Cookie policy
Which cookies we use, why, and how to change your decision.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Some are necessary for the site to work at all; others serve measurement or advertising, and for those we ask for your consent.
Cookies on this site
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
lakris_session
|
Necessary | Holds the contents of your cart and the staff login to the admin panel, and protects the forms from misuse (CSRF token). | Until the browser closes |
lakris_consent
|
Necessary | Remembers your choice of cookie categories so the banner does not repeat. | 6 months |
lakris_locale
|
Necessary | Remembers the language you picked with the switch, so your next visit opens in the same one. | 12 months |
This list is generated from the shop itself rather than typed out by hand, so it cannot drift from what is actually set. Analytics and marketing cookies appear in it only once those tools are switched on.
The table today holds three cookies and all three are necessary: the contents of the cart and the security of the forms, your cookie decision, and the language you picked with the switch. There are no analytics or marketing rows, because those tools are not loaded.
Categories
Necessary
Without these the shop does not work. They hold the contents of your cart, protect the forms from misuse and remember your cookie decision. They are set on the basis of legitimate interest and cannot be turned off.
Analytics
Measuring visits with an external tool. Currently is not switched on; we use only our own statistics, which set no cookie.
Our own statistics are described in the Privacy policy. They store nothing on your device, so they do not fall into this category.
Marketing
Measuring how advertisements perform on social networks. Currently is not switched on.
Embedded content
When you choose parcel locker delivery at checkout and open the map, a map of the lockers served by BOX NOW is loaded into the page. Until that click nothing is loaded and no request goes out. Opening the map connects your browser directly to BOX NOW’s servers and to the servers the map draws its tiles, locker list and typefaces from; those servers then see your IP address. On opening, the map does not try to place you: it neither requests your device location nor estimates one from your IP address, and instead receives the postal code you entered yourself. Only if you press the widget’s own “find lockers near me” control does it then ask for your location. We do not run those servers and we do not control what they record.
The map script is loaded from widget-cdn.boxnow.hr and the map itself from widget-v5.boxnow.hr; along with them come libraries, map tiles, the list of lockers and typefaces from third-party servers that BOX NOW uses.
How to change your decision
You can change your decision at any time, with the button below or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. The change takes effect immediately.
Blocking cookies in your browser
You can also block cookies directly in your browser settings. Bear in mind that without the necessary cookies the cart and the checkout will not work.
